Macaroni Pass
Have 5 pieces of elbow or shell macaroni on one side of the music stand
(or whatever). Each time a piece is played, pass one macaroni to
the other side.
See how many times the child can pass them back and forth.
This can also be a mean perfection game. The macaroni can only be
passed if the piece is perfect. If 3 macaronis have been passed
and a mistake is made, all the macaroni must be passed back.
Many play this game with pennies...or any other item you can think of.
I often play against my student. I get 3 pieces of whatever, and
they get 3. Each time they play flawlessly, they steal one of
mine. Each time their is an error, I steal on of theirs.
Whoever ends up with all 6, wins.
